This policy describes processing connected with the use of SyncNumbers and distinguishes technical services from optional analytics.

Data that may be processed
- technical data needed to deliver, secure and operate the site, such as request data, IP address, browser/device information and technical logs, according to the infrastructure services used;
- privacy preferences stored locally in the browser;
- usage data and session statistics through Google Analytics 4, only after explicit consent;
- aggregate usage and performance metrics through Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM when that feature is enabled at Cloudflare level;
- data voluntarily sent by email, including the sender address, message content and attachments.
No account is required to access public SyncNumbers content.
Purposes
- deliver, distribute and protect the site;
- remember and respect privacy preferences;
- measure site usage with Google Analytics 4 when the user has consented;
- monitor aggregate page performance and real-world usage with Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM when active;
- respond to communications and comply with applicable obligations.
Services and technologies
Cloudflare: infrastructure, security and content delivery
SyncNumbers uses Cloudflare for content delivery, security, network protection and performance. In providing those services Cloudflare may process technical request data under its own privacy documentation. This infrastructure role exists independently of Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM.
Cloudflare Web Analytics / Real User Measurements (RUM)
Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM may be enabled separately at Cloudflare level. When active, a browser beacon uses browser performance APIs to produce aggregate metrics about page views, visits and real-world page performance.
Cloudflare documents that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for these metrics, does not fingerprint individual visitors and does not log URL query strings. Cloudflare also describes Web Analytics as designed not to collect or use visitors' personal data. These characteristics relate to Web Analytics/RUM and are separate from the ordinary technical processing of traffic by Cloudflare infrastructure.
The SyncNumbers Analytics banner preference does not control Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM. It controls only Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
Consent preferences
SyncNumbers stores a first-party localStorage preference named cookie_consent, containing the analytics/advertising choices, a timestamp and a version. While advertising is disabled, the advertising state remains disabled.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
SyncNumbers loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 only after explicit consent to the Analytics category. Before consent, analytics storage remains denied and the GTM container is not loaded. After withdrawal, the site updates the consent state and attempts to remove recognizable Google Analytics cookies from its own domain.

Advertising
Google AdSense is currently disabled. SyncNumbers does not load AdSense or display ads through that integration. Before any future activation, the policy and applicable preference system will be updated.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for any additional period required by law or needed to protect rights. Locally stored preferences stay on the device until deleted or replaced. Third-party services also apply their own retention practices.
Processing locations and international transfers
Providers may operate in countries other than the user's country. Where transfers of personal data are subject to specific legal requirements, the mechanisms provided by applicable law and the relevant provider are used. Provider privacy notices contain further details.
User rights
To the extent provided by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Where applicable state laws provide additional rights, users may have rights including access, correction, deletion, a copy of data and the ability to opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activities. SyncNumbers does not sell personal information. With AdSense disabled, its advertising integration is not used for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
