Cookies and local storage

SyncNumbers uses only the storage mechanisms needed for the features described here and keeps optional Google analytics separate from Cloudflare technical measurements.

Technical and consent preferences

The site may store a first-party localStorage preference named cookie_consent. It remembers the user's choice for optional Google analytics and contains the preference state, a timestamp and the consent-model version. Interface preferences such as the theme may also be stored locally.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are loaded only after explicit consent to the Analytics category. Without consent, the GTM container is not loaded and analytics storage remains denied. You can change this choice at any time through the preferences panel.

Cloudflare Web Analytics (RUM)

Cloudflare Web Analytics, also known as Real User Measurements (RUM), is separate from the Google consent described above. It may be enabled at the Cloudflare infrastructure level and, when active, uses a browser beacon to measure aggregate page usage and real-world performance.

According to Cloudflare documentation, Web Analytics does not use cookies, localStorage or other persistent client-side identifiers for these metrics, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not log URL query strings. Cloudflare describes the service as designed not to collect or use visitors' personal data.

Therefore the SyncNumbers Analytics preference does not enable or disable Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM. RUM settings are managed separately at Cloudflare level.

Cloudflare for delivery and security

Independently of RUM, SyncNumbers uses Cloudflare to deliver content, protect the site and handle network traffic. This technical processing is separate from optional Google analytics and from the RUM measurement described above.

Advertising

Google AdSense is currently disabled on SyncNumbers. The site does not load the AdSense integration or activate advertising technologies through it. If advertising is introduced in the future, this policy and the applicable preferences panel will be updated before activation.

Managing your preferences

You can change the Google Analytics choice through Manage cookie preferences in the footer. You can also clear cookies and local data in your browser settings. Removing cookie_consent will cause the banner to appear again on a later visit.
